Reflect, choose and accept
Should you work, play, cook, exercise, see family, see friends, take part in a local class or just relax with a book in the sun? Every day we are met with a mass of things that we could be doing—but what should we be doing? That’s a question that rarely has one perfect answer. Instead of striving to make the “right” choice, what if we focused on making a conscious one? Take a moment to reflect on how you've spent your time recently. Did you invest in your relationships, your health, your creativity—or did you rest and recharge? All of it counts. Looking back can help us see patterns, priorities, or even needs we might have ignored. Then we get to choose: do we continue on this path, or shift?
Whatever you decide—whether it’s a quiet solo evening or a day of ticking off tasks—stand by it fully. Your time is yours to shape, and choosing one thing always means setting another aside. That’s not failure; that’s life. The goal isn’t to do everything, but to live with intention. So make your decision, embrace it fully, and let go of the guilt. There is power in being present with what you’ve chosen. Give yourself permission to be satisfied with what you did, rather than haunted by what you didn’t.

Over the past few months, I've been working on giving myself permission to truly enjoy the choices I make with my time. In the beginning, I found it incredibly difficult to commit to a decision—no matter what I chose, I’d feel conflicted or guilty, constantly questioning whether it was the "right" use of my day. But last week, something shifted. I took a day off mid-week to go climbing, and while the usual thoughts crept in—“I should really be working,” or *“It’s too nice outside to be indoors”—*I was surprised by how much more at peace I felt with my decision.
For the first time in a while, I could be present and actually enjoy the moment without being pulled in ten different directions by guilt or second-guessing. It wasn’t that the nagging thoughts disappeared entirely, but they held less power. I could acknowledge them without letting them take over. That day became a small but meaningful reminder that satisfaction doesn’t come from doing it all, but from honoring the choice I’ve made—and allowing myself to feel good about it.

Product Recommendation of the Month
Here is our favourite product that we added to our health and wellbeing product directory (THP Recommends) this month!
OnGuard Hand Purifying Mist
With so many adventures to be had from festivals to city breaks, it is great to carry a hand sanitiser. There are so many options on the market, but very few that contain all natural ingredients that actually work. Doterra’s hand purifying mist uses essential oils to naturally sanitise your hands. They also do a very pure lavender essential oil that can be mixed into a moisturiser or coconut oil and applied to sunburn, insect bites or spots.
